Wiretap from u-he is a dual-channel slope detector, feeding upon a variety of control voltage signals to generate gates and triggers based upon their changes in movement or direction. Two inputs feed independent slope detectors, each of which has three different outputs that generate pulses when certain conditions are met. These include simply detecting whether a signal is moving up or down in voltage, but also most interesting options like detecting significant changes, semitone-sized steps, and higher/lower than outputs comparing the states of both channels. Each channel's slope detector also feeds into a pair of hold/release envelope followers, with amplitudes based upon the corresponding input signal.
