With the Trident Audio Developments Hi-Lo, you're not adding any old filter to your 500 series collection, but a highly dynamic and responsive sculpting tool to enliven any sound. As you might guess by the name, Hi-Lo features two filters: a Hi-Cut (lowpass) and a Lo-Cut (highpass), both with standard frequency and resonance controls. You can also define a selectable 12 or 24dB/oct slope for more intense filtering. But what makes this module unique are the optional Track Signal functions, which sweeps the filter frequency in response the input signal. This affords everything from dynamic noise reduction on hissy tape signals or preventing low-end boom in louder moments.
