A compact 2U rackmount version of the same Trident 'A' Range console channel strips heard on countless records that define the pinnacle of studio excellence, the A-Range brings discrete transistor magic to any instrument, microphone, or line level sound source. Each independent channel provides a microphone and line amplifier with an incredibly musical four-band equalizer, giving you total control to intuitively shape signals with precision while retaining a distinct sonic signature.

The transformer-coupled amplifiers offer exceptional transient response and very low noise, handling signals from -60dBu to +10dBu without needing a pad switch. Accurate 5dB steps along the travel of its gain switch allows for precise gain staging with reliable and repeatable results, with additional adjustment available in conjunction with the Output level control. Separately switchable phantom power and polarity reversal for each channel allows flexibility to meet any musical demand. In the equalizer, high and low shelf filters at the outer ranges and peak filters in between offer comprehensive spectral control, with rotary switches for each band and center-detented fader controls for adjusting boosts and cuts in each position.
