The core of the module offers four independent, eight-step sequencers, each of which references one of two 8-step voltage banks. These two sets of stored voltages may be addressed by each sequencer differently, providing contrapuntal combinations through creative loop points, resets, and clock pulses. In addition to each sequencer's independent CV and gate outputs, pattern-chained and logic-derived outputs let you mix and compare sequences to provide an additional 4 CV sequences and two gate tracks.

With finger-friendly faders for CV values and flippable switches offering per-step on, off, and portamento, the core features of the Tobinski Sequencer are plenty to get even larger systems singing. Going deeper into the many CV inputs provides further complexity to shake sequences up and keep your patch moving. Trigger and CV inputs for each sequencer's reference clock and playback direction help diversify parametric changes, while separate end pulse outputs provide options for self-patched or external organization of musical timing.
