The Quântica from This Machine Modular, is a 4 channel quantizer that can be the central tonal stalwart, ready to guide your patch into harmonic or discordant territory with ease. Centered around a 4 channel quantizer, you get a CV input with selectable range and trigger/gate input for each channel. Channels can be completely independent or they can be normalled together for creating chords or harmonies. When using it for chords, you can access the powerful Chord Sequencer that lets you record and playback 8 step chord patterns that can be externally triggered and divided via the internal clock divider.

Each of the 4 channels has an arpeggiator in it which is applied to the output note after quantization. An LFO can control the inversion of the chord and the channels can be normalled together to create complex harmonies. A true inspiration machine, the Quântica features a built-in chord map that makes suggestions based on your key.
