Tembra Exhale

Exhale from Tembra is a compact source of attack/release envelopes, providing nine outputs derived by the individual channel controls, as well as the relationship between the two envelopes. The two channels each include sliders and CV inputs to control the time of the corresponding envelope stages. The envelopes act as cycling unipolar LFOs with nothing patched into their in1 or in2 gate inputs.

The stage outputs are not gate outputs but rather the individual parts of the two envelopes, giving you access to the attack and release-only parts of the envelopes. Patching the release outputs to a VCA and pitch input on a sine wave oscillator creates a simple kick drum voice. The mix outputs take the individual stages of the two envelopes and combine to create three additional outputs. These three mix outputs create new envelopes shaped by the interaction between the two main envelope controls. Inhale, Exhale; you've found your source of complex envelopes with familiar controls.
