VCOLD from SYNSO is an LFO and Sample and Hold module that elegantly blends minimalist design with robust functionality. Behind its modest 8hp size sit both an LFO and a sample & hold (S&H) circuit, so the module supplies periodic and random signals at once to animate your patches. The LFO puts out sine, saw, and square waveforms, while the random section provides both an S&H output and the noise source that feeds it. The LFO's square wave is internally normalled to the S&H clock input, so every output is live straight away, with no external patching required. Three controls keep the interaction immediate: SPEED for LFO frequency, FM to set the depth of frequency modulation, and SLIDE to slew the stepped voltages of the S&H section.
