HONG 32-Step Sequencer

SYNSO HONG

HONG from SYNSO is a 32-step sequencer and performance instrument built for the immediacy that live applications commonly demand. Borrowing from classic sequencing paradigms, the module grants two complementary modes of interaction: one that captures knob movements in real time, Korg-style, letting you "draw" voltage curves simply by playing the controls; and one that borrows Elektron's parameter-lock approach for precise, silent, step-by-step programming. Holding the central FUNC button turns the surrounding keys into transport and utility controls — play, pause, return to start, clear, randomize, switch clock source, and save settings.

HONG also has a quantizer on board with a wide variety of scales, from major and pentatonic through harmonic and melodic minor to whole tone. A wonderful addition to any creative system, HONG from SYNSO is the kind of module that lets you reshape an entire patch with a single broad stroke across its controls, or fine-tune everything with a high degree of precision.
