BigSky MX from Strymon expands on their legendary reverberator, with new machines, added control, and even more handy tricks for adding rich reverberation to make your music soar into the open cosmos. Preserving the same core functionality that made their original reverb an industry leader, the BigSky MX goes even bigger, offering new sounds to add space and resonance to your pedalboard, synth set-up, or studio effects rig. Twelve reverb machines give you a diverse range of tones inspired by classic studio reverb types and beyond, with 7 all-new machines and 5 returning machines, each with upgraded features.

Among these new reverb algorithms is BigSky MX's convolution engine, letting you build reverberant spaces both imaginary and real. Using up to ten second impulse response (IR) captures and the ability to fully edit IRs on the device, you can create lush and realistic reverbs that capture the sound of your favorite studio gear pieces and even real spaces. To get you reverberating right out of the box, BigSky MX comes preloaded with 22 IRs including custom long captures of renown studio equipment.

With a tri-core, 400MHz ARM processor at the helm, BigSky MX gives you enough power to use two reverb machines simultaneously in series, parallel, and split modes. New panning controls give you more control over your stereo image, while multiple footswitch modes and a dedicated infinite/freeze button offer performative gestures for controlling reverbs in real time. BigSky MX features an updated OLED screen, giving you crucial feedback into all your parametric tweaks.
