Boasting a serious dose of Solid Stae Logic console character, the PureDrive Octo packs eight colorful preamps in a rackmount package alongside stellar digital conversion capabilities. Featuring expanded versions of the PureDrive preamps found in their Origin consoles, you'll have no trouble imparting console coloration onto your favorite microphones, guitars, basses, synths, and more. Specifically, these preamps feature three Drive modes: Clean, Classic Drive (as heard on the Origin), and the new Asymmetric Drive for thicker harmonic content.

Beyond this, the PureDrive Octo boasts an abundance of ways to connect with your studio gear. Whether you're plugging instruments into the front or using either the rear XLR-TRS combo jacks or DB25 inputs, there's a way to get your signals through those desirable SSL circuits. Insert loops or optional channel outputs can be found on DB25 as well, while a plethora of digital connectivity options let you incorporate PureDrive Octo into nearly any studio space imaginable. ADAT, AES/EBU, and good-ol' USB-C make it easy to link up and add some great character to your studio. With PureDrive Octo you'll be laying down tracks oozing with SSL sonic character in no time.
