This sixteen input summing mixer provides total control over the final steps of your mixing or mastering workflow, bringing precise transparency in spatialization and depth to every session. On each channel, switchable inserts allow for easy routing of additional hardware processors from your DAW, with an additional master insert for bus processing. A useful No Mix function for each insert allows you to mute audio from summing while retaining the direct output, allowing for more flexibility when recording channels through compression and other processors when using level automation. On the front panel, onboard tools for shaping your mix bring the best out of any project, including a stereo expander for managing width, as well as a built-in peak limiter. Finally, output level can be adjusted, and a switchable pair of Lundahl transformers is at the ready for a final touch of analog warmth and polish. On its own or connected to additional summing with its expansion input, the MixDream from SPL is a luxurious choice for bringing the details out in any mix with analog sound you can trust.
