Teinte 1U from Sovage Engineering is a compact coloration utility that emulates the sound of vintage analog audio equipment, perfect for warming up digital audio and adding analog sauce to any source. Designed by Sovage to replicate the tone of various preamplifiers, microphones, and speaker combinations, Teinte 1U uses solid state gain stages to introduce harmonic enhancement and coloration to your signal.

Operation is simple using the two provided three-position switches. On the right, the switch selects preamp and mic placement. Dark leans into low-end, while Bright provides mid-focused coloration for added sizzle. Focus adds control to the bright mode, invoking preamps with onboard EQ. On the other switch you can select between speaker emulations, including a Vintage 60's HIFI speaker, a 90's LO-FI speaker, or the uniquely brash tone of Broken mode, which emulates a 70s German tube amp. Whether you're adding a bit of heat to digital sounds or warming up a main output with analog coloration, Teinte 1U from Sovage Engineering is a great way to add vintage character in any patch.
