Building on the success of their 4HP drum sampler modules, Soundforce's Samples II is a compact powerhouse playback module, delivering 5 channels of triggerable sample playback via USB. In its simplest application, a USB storage stick is plugged into the jack at the bottom of the module, allowing five samples to be triggered via the left row of jacks. Each channel features its own output, with the fifth working as a simple summing mixer for any unpatched output.

Designed with percussion in mind, the channels respond to triggers with an ultra-low latency of 0.15ms, effortlessly firing off samples in time even at breakneck tempos. However, the drum-averse will find plenty to explore in Samples II, thanks to its ability to playback samples of more than 1 hour in length. Flexible playback modes, multisampling, and CV'able playback speed may be configured via a text file on your chosen USB stick, giving you many options to address samples, play through multiple sounds, and make Samples II perfectly suited to your personal system.

Loading and storing samples on Samples II is easy using a simple folders/directories system on the USB stick. Offering virtually limitless storage based on the size of your chosen USB drive, you can keep multiple banks of samples at the ready for instant recall using the tactile switch.
