Sherman marketed their first Filterbanks in 1996 in a limited run of 40 pieces. Slowly but surely, founder Herman Gillis listened to feedback and decided to implement MIDI technology in later versions. Since then, the Filterbank has become one of the most acclaimed devices in the annals of music history. Used by some of the most renowned musicians of all time, the Filterbank’s reputation essentially speaks for itself.
