The Sebsongs Modular Sampler is a fun and intuitive tool for capturing and manipulating recorded audio in a Eurorack system, complete with onboard microphone for sampling sounds anywhere. This monophonic sampler features a lovingly lo-fi sound character thanks to its 12-bit internal processing, reminiscent of classic samplers from yesteryear. Capture a sound via the input or onboard microphone by pressing and holding the sample button, providing up to 3.5 seconds of recording at the highest sample rate. Sample rate is directly controlled by the pitch knob, the movements of which can be recorded along with your sample to create fluctuations in pitch and playback direction. The input stage is suitable for everything from raw laptop and smartphone outputs to modular level signals, with an inline level control onboard.

Manual and CV controls allow for hands-on manipulation of your sample and CV-mediated mangling alike. The Loop switch selects between one-shot or looping modes, with triggering or loop reset controlled by triggers sent to the Reset input. Sampling can also be CV controlled with gate signals. Finger-friendly sliders for start point and sample length allow for focusing in on your favorite moments of audio, while CV inputs for these parameters enable you to target different audio areas via CV.
