The Maximal Drone from Rucci Electronics is a portable drone synthesizer featuring six discrete oscillators for sculpting dense walls of undulating synthetic goodness. Each individual oscillator can be tuned to affect how they phase in relation to one another, creating thick synth voices that morph and evolve over time. Define the pitch range of each of the six oscillators using the adjacent range switch for low and full range behavior. Alternatively, you can disengage any of the oscillators as you choose for a more focused drone sound. Shape your drones even further using the global filter knob, which allows you to sculpt the synth's timbre for a less-aggressive sound. The onboard 3.5mm CV input provides a voltage-controllable power sag effect using your external gear or Eurorack synthesizers. The synth is completely portable, capable of running off a single 9V battery for on-the-go drone exploration.
