Random Source brings you an updated version of the classic Jürgen Haible Tau Phaser, a much sought after analog 18 pole phaser. The mk2 builds upon the original sought after design with revised and improved internal circuitry plus an additional CV and audio input. The analog transistor-based 18 pole allpass phaser sounds like nothing else in Eurorack. Use either the internal LFO or the two external CV inputs with adjustable attenuversion. Patch in external LFOs for traditional phaser behavior or get wild with stepped random or audio rate modulation. The pair of outputs widens and adds pseudo-stereo depth to the two audio inputs. Engage the Color switch to invert the spectrum of the input signals and explore new sonic dimensions. The Random Source Haible Tau mk2 retains all the character of the original while pushing its possibilities to new uncharted territories.
