The 4060E from Olegtron is a broken-out CD4060 Counter IC adapted to deliver a wide variety of sputtering, glitchy oscillations and percussive sounds. Amazing tonal variation is possible thanks to the internal power-starve circuit, configurable input/outputs, and an included components pack which includes resistors, diodes, capacitors, jumpers, and a photoresistor. Much fun can be had reconfiguring the 4060E using its breadboard-style front panel, either by referencing the pre-made patches in the manual or just by messing around with different values and component placements. With no risk of damage to the circuit, a user is encouraged to experiment and explore, as the 4060E is capable of infinite weirdness despite its simple circuitry.
