Noise Engineering Variatic Sequent
Variatic - changing; from the Latin varius "changing" with the suffix -ic, "pertaining to," "Pertaining to Change."
Sequent - from Latin sequentia, "sequence"
The Variatic Sequent, from Noise Engineering, is a easy to program trigger sequencer for Eurorack modular synthesizers. Each of the four knobs control where a trigger output can be placed within the 16-beat LED line. A downbeat switch adds four trigger outputs on each of the downbeats, providing a super quick four-on-the-floor kick sequence. When paired with the Variatic Multium, one can voltage control the position of the four triggers, allowing for insane variations and evolving rhythms.Â
