Victor Alpha 2 XP, code named VA2XP, is a four channel stereo enhancer and mixer for Eurorack systems from Modulaire Maritime. Packing a ton of functionality into a convenient 8hp package, VA2XP is a great way to create dynamic stereo mixes even in small systems, with myriad methods for moving sounds through the stereo field using voltage control. Each of the four channels feature stereo inputs, though monophonic signals can be used as well for each channel without losing panning and crossfading capabilities.

In the first channel, you get manual level and panning controls, as well as simultaneous panning and crossfading CV inputs, allowing for deep control of stereo movement and signal balance. Channels two and three feature similar manual control over level and panning, with a slightly different response at the panning CV input for these channels that creates a unique sense of stereo space combined with channel one's more conventional panning response. Channel four is the simplest of the quartet, featuring only manual level control and no CV control.

In addition to these flexible channels of stereophonic fun, you also get a dedicated Cue input and headphone output, with a switch to listen in on the Cue input rather than the stereo mix output, letting you quickly patch-in and audition a sound in headphones before sending it to the main mix, useful for both live and studio performance.
