Meng Qi Karp
The Meng Qi Karp is a waveguide synthesis voice with an aggressive, glitchy character. It consists of a delay line fed back through a crude filter with widely variable controls, allowing for everything from plinky percussion to out-of-control string and noise sounds. Thanks to voltage control over every parameter, the Karp can serve several purposes even within the same patch. The Karp is undoubtedly a unique sound source sure to bring something different to any system.

Meng Qi Karp And Detroit Underground DU-KRPLS Karplus Strong Modules
Meng Qi has two Karplus Stong digital waveguide eurorack modules, the Karp (https://www.perfectcircuit.com/meng-qi-karp.html?utm_source=perfectcircuit_youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=karp_dukarp) which has an agressive glitchy sound, or the Detroit Underground collaboration version DU-KRPLS (https://www.perfectcircuit.com/meng-qi-du-krpls.html?utm_source=perfectcircuit_youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=karp_dukarp) which has a unique circuit bent sound. These modules are great for percussion and sound effects, but can also produce weird melodies. In this video the Malekko Varigate 4+ sequences everything and additional drum sounds come from the SSF Entity Percussion Synthesizer and Dave Smith Instruments Feedback module.
