The Kolora from Magerit provides a palette of virtually all the essential functions in modular synthesis, immediately adding a technicolor assortment of functionality with which to create your next work of musical art. While similarly sized full voice modules often pack patch connections behind the panel in predefined arrangements, Kolora offers a fully patchable modular system in just 42HP. Featuring both analog and digital VCOs, noise source, state variable filter, two VCAs, an ADSR, two LFOs, a sequencer, and plenty more utilities to help shape your patch, Kolora redefines comprehensivity in the modular format.

Perfect as a starting point in your descent into the modular realm or as a feature rich addition to an established system, Kolora offers a wide range of straightforward essentials that add up to more than the sum of their parts. Sound sources are varied, with a classic 3340-based analog VCO, digital wavetable oscillator with user-wave loading capabilities, and multiple types of noise. Shape these sounds through the state variable filter, giving you all the essential filter types and even acting as an additional oscillator at high resonance settings. To complete the voice, two VCAs handle amplitude control, while a classic ADSR envelope makes note shapes in style.

Adding even more patchable action to Kolora are its numerous CV utilities and modulation sources. Two LFOs with sine, square, and triangle shapes between the two let you add modulation to the many parametric inputs on Kolora, while an 8-step sequencer helps generate melodic and rhythmic patterns. Logic utilities add creative ways to process CV and gate signals to keep things interesting. Finally, a three-channel mixer and dual output help combine signals and get them out of Kolora.
