Providing two channels of bi-directional switching, tàin from Instruo is a great way to provide manual and automated signal routing. Each channel can be patched to be either two inputs/one output, or one input/two outputs, with the active channel selected by the button and associated gate input. The switching can either be latching, with the button selecting on and then off, or momentary, where the switching will only be active as long as the button is pressed.

Use any signal in your modular as a source for the switch, trigger or gate patterns, envelopes, random voltages, even audio rate sources will work with it. Although simple in its implementation, this bi-directional switch adds two channels of useful and performative functions that can be used in a variety of ways.
