The ICBM from Ghost Note Audio is a preamp pedal based on the Randall Warhead X2 designed to give you that same high-gain aggression but without the stack. Importantly, this is not a distortion pedal and is best used when plugged directly into a power amp or audio interface directly. The original amps are Dimebag Darrell's signature amp, so you can imagine how brutal it can be, however, it can also be fairly pristine. Use the 2 channels to dial in distinct sounds with Channel 1 offering a distortion-free experience, while Channel 2 offers a thicker, more aggressive sound. Both channels have independent controls for Gain and Volume; a third Boost footswitch will give you plenty of gain to stand out for your solos or ornamentation. An active 5-band EQ gives you access to Bass, Mid, Treble, as well as a Density control that boosts/cuts the lowest frequency and Presence that boosts/cuts the high end.
