In another truly electrifying display of engineering, Gamechanger Audio's Plasma Voice repurposes their high-voltage discharge technology into a tightly controlled Eurorack voice module. Controlled by a precision ultrasonic oscillator, the electronic discharges are then stepped down to standard Eurorack voltage levels and shaped by the rest of Plasma Voice's circuitry to create its distinct sonic characteristics. Plasma Voice offers you 49 different sounds, organized into seven banks of seven sounds each—all grouped together by their general sonic traits. From Bass, Lead, and Pluck to Static and Spark, Plasma Voice's sputtery and sizzly personality always shines through.

To accompany Plasma Voice's sound generation, Gamechanger has rounded out the module with additional shaping to truly make it a full voice in a single module. For more oomph and emphasis, a soft-clipping drive circuit and two-band EQ let you shape the raw sounds generated by the discharges, before passing on to the analog filter and VCA stages. An internal envelope generator can also be stretched and warped in a variety of ways, lending itself to swelling melodies or short punchy basses. Of course, there are generous CV inputs to control Plasma Voice, but the inclusion of a MIDI input offers you an alternative way to control the module and upload any future firmware updates.
