Five12 has revised the hardware for their beloved Vector Sequencer module with a MKII version that expands the pitch CV outputs, adds more per-step customization, more than doubles the amount of preset storage, and other nice quality-of-life features. Much of what's great about the Vector Sequencer is unchanged: the intuitive interface, real-time knob adjustments, and deep customization options all remain. The chance operations have been expanded to include over 40 different options from muting, to skipping, to pitch adjustment, and more, a simple 8 step sequence can now iterate itself to create unique melodic threads. You can now add two chance operations to each step for even more delightful serendipity. Use the CV outputs to send up to 12 different pitch CVs or change it to send out up to 20 different Gates. With the USB Host and Device ports, you can also use this to drive your computer's softsynth or connect a MIDI controller to control the device. Use a Novation MK3 Launchpad to take advantage of the native support for launching scenes, presets and even programming parts.
