The NYX Reissue is a faithful reproduction of Dreadbox's V1 NYX, an all-analog paraphonic desktop synthesizer complete with luxurious dual filters and a lush onboard reverb effect. Just like the original, the NYX Reissue offers both semi-modular patchability as well as full MIDI control, and can be used either in its included desktop enclosure or installed in a Eurorack system. No matter your preferred method of performance, the dual oscillator, paraphonic design enables 2-note paraphonic performance, as well as rich dual-oscillator monophonic playing for thick, detuned timbres.

Sculpt a wide range of tones with the warm and versatile oscillators, with the first featuring either saw or square waveshapes, PWM control, and over three octaves of range. Oscillator two provides saw and triangle waves and a detune control for adjusting pitch relative to the primary oscillator. Onboard vibrato control adds even more nuance to your sounds, while the wonderful and flexible dual filter design provides plenty of spectra-sculpting potential. At the end of the chain, NYX features a digital reverb effect with adjustable pre-delay and decay, perfect for setting your sounds into immersive space.
