The dbx 530 is a 500-series parametric EQ, great for a wide range of sound sculpting needs. It features three overlapping bands with sweepable frequencies: low from 20Hz-500Hz, mid from 200Hz-5kHz, and high from 800Hz to 20kHz, all featuring 15dB of boost or cut and adjustable frequency bandwidth. Each band can be switched to "infinite notch" mode, and the high and low bands can be independently switched from peaking to shelving. For easy A/Bing of your mix, the In switch instantly allows you to bypass the EQ entirely. The 530 provides a wide range of EQing capabilities, leading you to highlight the best parts of your sounds and make your mix sound great.
