Blue Lantern APE

Monkey around with the snappy envelopes of APE from Blue Lantern Modules, an envelope and VCA module optimized for creating percussive shapes with accent functionality. Inspired by vintage circuits like the Pearl SY-1, which could be triggered at different amplitudes to create accented patterns, APE brings this highly musical functionality to Eurorack in a compact form factor.

APE features an attack-decay envelope, which can be set to operate with triggers or gates sent to its Trig input. Set the overall time range for both stages with the range switch, offering both normal envelopes and an extra-snappy percussion mode. Your signal is fed into the audio input, with outputs for both enveloped audio and the envelope shape itself. Adjust the accented and unaccented amplitudes with Level or Accent controls and CV inputs, with an additional Depth control for output gain. APE from Blue Lantern combines multiple functions in one space saving module, adding musical nuance to patches in any sized system.
