Befaco's Iroi is a multi-effects module that gives you a filter, resonator, echo, and reverb in a compact package, all lifted from their Oneiroi module. The Filter section can act as a VCA and is re-positionable anywhere in the signal chain, giving you unmatched flexibility when it comes to dynamics manipulation. You can smoothly morph from Low, to Band, to High, to Notch to dial in—or out as the case may be—any frequencies you'd like. An Echo section gives you a standard delay effect that is perfect for creating interwoven melody lines, or adding a little hallucinatory trailing to your sounds. The Resonantor is where you can get really strange, allowing for sympathetic resonance or feeding CV into the control and crafting a little tune. Swarms of feedback can be conjured easily in Iroi, and the edges can get softened thanks to the Ambience section, a reverb that can allow for vast expanses or a little extra smear. Regardless of the focus of your rack, the Iroi is an exceptional addition that can find its way into any patch that needs a little extra spice.
