ATOV cLFO

The cLFO or Complex LFO from ATOV packs two LFOs alongside a ring modulator, generating complex and evolving LFO shapes from the interaction of two simple waves. Each of the two LFOs feature triangle, saw/ramp, and square wave outputs, as well as manual controls for frequency. CV inputs are available, with LFO 2 featuring a CV attenuator. The LFOs output signals between +/- 5V, with a time range of 2 minutes to .05 seconds. Using CV inputs, this range may be extended from 400Hz all the way down to 13 hours per cycle, for near-imperceivable changes and audio rate applications.

cLFO earns its complex title with the addition of a ring modulator, multiplying each LFO together to derive more bespoke waveshapes. The triangle output of LFO 1 is normalled to the ring mod's X input, while the sawtooth of LFO 2 is normalled to the Y input. Take things further with self-patching, allowing one or both LFOs to modulate one another's frequencies for even wilder waveshapes. Working wonders as a dedicated LFO source or as two separate and essential modulation utilities, cLFO is sure to find creative use in any system.
