Arturia's classic MicroBrute is back in your solar system, with all the same functionality that made the original so special—now with a fresh coat of extra terrestrial paint. It features a 100% analog audio signal path based around a complex multimode oscillator with Saw, Pulse, and Triangle waves and a ton of modifiers to derrive unique tones. The Ultra Saw makes for huge, complex sounds, while the Metalizer adds complex harmonics to the Triangle wave. MicroBrute also features a Sub Oscillator for beefing up any sound you create. The filter section provides a Steiner-Parker multimode filter, with low pass, high pass, and band pass modes. The front panel also includes the Brute Factor control, which can add anything from a subtle drive effect, to screaming chaos and everything in between. It also features an expressive step-sequencer, with eight customizable sequences with up to sixty-four steps per sequence, as well as rate controls and multiple trigger modes.

Semi-modular and ready for patchable fun, the MicroBrute features a prominent mod matrix, enabling self-patching and patching with external gear using the included 3.5mm stackable patch cables. The mod matrix gives your access to CV control over the Saw, Sub, and Metalizer oscillators, as well as global pitch, filter, and PWM inputs. It also includes handy envelope and LFO outputs for building deeper patches with the MicroBrute. The back panel also includes a dedicated Gate input for syncing the internal sequencer and LFO, as well as Pitch and Gate outputs for using the MicroBrute as the primary control for a larger patch with external gear. The LFO section provides three different LFO shapes, which can be synced to external gear, or run alongside the sequencer tempo. The MIDI and USB inputs allow you to connect the MicroBrute directly to your DAW or external gear. This, along with the audio input and output makes it an excellent companion for any setup.
