API Select T12 is a dual channel Class-A microphone preamplifier built with dual-triode vacuum tubes representing a new take on the classic API sound. At the input stage is API's proprietary AP2516 transformer with a custom API transformer on the output stage as well, both using vacuum tubes. Each channel features a classic, backlit VU meter, variable microphone impedance switch, three-position low cut switch, and dedicated controls for gain and level with the intention of delivering a wide range of preamp options, including stereo operation. Capable of handling a wide array of production applications, the API Select T12 delivers API's famous warmth, punch, and clarity with the power of vacuum tubes.
