HARMONICONSTELLATION from A Magic Pulsewave is a MIDI expander and synthesizer that allows you to generate three channels of MIDI information and synthesized audio from numerous AMP devices. Featuring three channels of MIDI output as well as an onboard, three channel preset synthesizer, the HARMONICONSTELLATION takes in data from any AMP LINK connection, such as from the Obliquencer, Melody Oracle, Touch Tones, or Star Song, and turns this data into MIDI control signals and polyphonic, multitimbral audio. This provides a great way to expand the functionality of your existing AMP devices, while also allowing their unique interfaces to integrate directly with any standard MIDI instrument in your studio.

With your AMP LINK connection established, the HARMONICONSTELLATION creates three channels of MIDI information which output from each of the three TRS MIDI outputs. Controls are provided for selecting root note and musical mode for each channel, with ultra-cool rotating window selectors alit with LED luminance. For each of these parameters, a CV Input is also provided, offering even more ways to creatively control the MIDI quantization in real time, with each knob becoming an attenuation control for CV signals once connected. Using the three touch controls, the three voices can be set to route to any of the 16 MIDI channels available, making it easy to connect to your favorite devices in any set-up configuration.

While MIDI connection to external devices enables boundless experimentation, HARMONICONSTELLATION features its own built-in preset synthesizer, for which waveform and envelope settings can be set for each voice from one of 16 built-in presets. Each of the 16 options correspond to one of the available MIDI channels. For even more connectable fun, the MIDI outputs also send MIDI clock to synchronize with external drum machines, and multiple HARMONICONSTELLATIONS, AMP Expandoors, and Wave Expanders can be chained for additional voices and control options.
