Explore tactile sequencing in a whole new way with the 4ms Catalyst Sequencer, a hybrid step and phase sequencer with a crossfader interface. The module features eight CV channels, which can be totally unquantized or mapped to common musical scales. Each channel can have its own independent length up to 64 steps, quantizer settings, clock rate, voltage range, and more. Speaking of clocking, you can use Catalyst Sequencer as a traditional step sequencer, but more interesting is its capability to operate as a phase-based sequencer. Using either the crossfader or an external control voltage, you can directly select sequence stages instead of stepping through them, giving you more complex control over the contour of melodies or stepped modulations.
