Tape Stop from 2hp is a compact tool for creating the classic sound of analog tape slowing to a stop, bringing this iconic effect to any sound in your Eurorack rig. Invoke the nostalgic sound smearing that has charmed its way into a diverse set of electronic genres, and add control voltage to take this effect further. Input a mono signal, and your effected audio will be produced at the output. Trigger the stop effect with the trigger input in either momentary or latching mode, and keep tape stops perfectly in time with the clock input. The Lag parameter adjusts the length of your tape stop manually or via CV, from instant stops to a full four seconds.
