Zlosynth Instruments' Kaseta is a four-head tape delay emulation module that sounds incredible clean or pushed with a little bit of saturation. Each of the four available delay heads give you direct control over the Position, Volume, Feedback, and Pan allowing for complex rhythmic delays to be dialed in at a moment's notice. The left side gives you input signal adjustments with the Preamp control, while Drive and Bias controls adjust the color of tape saturation. Saturation can be balanced with the Dry/Wet control, and Wow/Flut gives you a little bit of modulation.
Adjust the overall delay time with the Speed control, and further sculpt your input signal with the low pass filter Tone control. If you don't have an input, there is an internal oscillator that can be accessed with a simple button combination. A set of four CV inputs are freely assignable to any knob on the front panel by simply plugging in a cable, wiggling a knob, and keeping the cable plugged in. Mapping will get reset on a disconnect, but persists through power cycles. This can be used with the aforementioned oscillator by mapping the Preamp control (which is a pitch control for the oscillator) to sequence the pitch. By assigning another control to the Tone knob and patching in an envelope, you can get a low-pass-gate-style VCA.
Kaseta from Zlosynth Instruments is a beautifully musical delay that will add a certain bit of sauce to any patch whether it's for long loops, short slapbacks, or anything in between.
