Zlosynth Instruments Achordion

The Achordion from Zlosynth Instruments is a compact wavetable oscillator module that can create complex chords, robust single notes, and fixed intervals. Across 37 available wavetables, you get classic waveforms along with more esoteric and harsher options. Paired with a filter and an effect or two, the Achordion opens up a world of possible music and progressions from traditional to the space-grade. The large knob gives you expert control over the wavetables in a given bank, of which there are four. Chord allows for control over the available chords and intervals, depending on the mode, while Tone is the main way to set the root note. Detune functions in a few different ways but will always control the secondary voices, allowing for slight detuning to sub-octave spreads.

The oscillator is designed to have two musical lines, featuring dual 1V/Oct inputs that give you control over each one. The main line is controlled through the Tone knob and can play chords, while the side line does not play chords and only appears when the Tone and Out jacks are utilized. When playing chords, the LEDs light up to indicate which intervals are being played and the Detune control lets you scroll through the available voicings. An Interval mode lets you choose an explicit interval to accompany the main tone which is selectable from anything two octaves above or two octaves below. The Arpeggio mode gives you four chord options that each get built one note at a time as you sweep through the Chord control.
