Waldorf’s Pulse 2 synthesizer is a powerful analog tabletop device featuring three oscillators, a VCF with 12dB high- and band-pass modes, a 24dB/12dB low-pass mode, analog filter FM, two overdrive circuits, ring modulation, and paraphonic and unison modes that lets users create chords consisting of up to eight voices.
In addition to an elegant metal case and proficient backlit LED screen, the Pulse 2 supports MIDI/USB connectivity as well as CV and Gate outs. The CV is capable of generating both V/Oct and Hz/V, while the Gate is compatible with both V- and S-Triggers. There’s also a powerful onboard arpeggiator, 8-slot modulation matrix, and an analog put for processing external signals. All this and more make the Waldorf Pulse 2 a sound investment for any synthesizer setup.
