TK Audio T-Komp 500

The T-Komp 500 from TK Audio is a 500 series rack-mount compressor, perfect for mixing and tracking. It features two ratio modes, 1:1 to 20:1 and 1:1 to 2:1. These act like Vari-Mu compressors in that the ratio is level dependent and increases as the signal level increases. The 20:1 is more suited to instrument tracking, while the 2:1 is great for bus compression. The T-Komp 500 features a blend control for parallel compression and five timing modes. The timing modes are one through four with one being the fastest and four being the slowest. The last timing mode is an adaptive mode that is program-dependent.
