TK Audio BC501-GR

The BC501-GR from TK Audio is a 500-series stereo bus compressor, perfect for gluing your tracks together with a distinctive dynamic character. Building on its predecessor, the BC501, this new iteration adds some notable features and refinements to the original design, including additional high-pass filter responses, a Grab function – which hardens the threshold knee of the compressor, perfect for punchy mixes – and improved graphics on the Threshold, Makeup, and Blend pots for a clear overview while dialing things in.

On top of all of this, the BC501-GR brings back many of the functions from its beloved predecessor, including front panel sidechain input, THD function for pleasing even harmonic distortion, and a blend function for stellar parallel compression. With this impressive set of features, the BC501-GR is an extremely capable and versatile stereo bus compressor.
