The Mantic Flex from Third Man Hardware is a versatile monophonic synth-fuzz pedal equipped with a variety of controls for creating cutting, glitchy, and synthetic fuzz sounds. As signals pass through the Flex, they transform into something quite different than how they went in, producing thick, phase sweeping square waves based on your original tone and dynamics. Control the attack of your sound using the Focus knob, which affects the overall envelope of the signal as the knob is dialed further clockwise. The Pump knob controls the envelope's range and speed, making these parameters closely linked to the functionality of the Focus control. Your synthesized tone can then be attenuated with the Lvl for master volume control of your signal. Control the sound further with the two toggle switches which provide different VCO modes, with $ switching to different decay shapes, while the & switch toggles between two different frequency ranges.
