The Smith 8x8 Programmable Matrix from Tesseract Modular lets you route and automate your modular patching with programmable precision. This buffered matrix features eight inputs and eight outputs under precise digital control, allowing you to create preset routings that can dramatically shake up a patch in an instant. Each input and output features compatibility with both audio and CV, enabling a wide range of applications. Route multiple modulation sources to each input and have them dynamically switch their destination to patch parameters, scramble drum triggers, and even switch effects chains, all with recallable scenes that enable powerful presets and on stage reliability.

With +/-10V range on each matrix input and output, you can use any source your heart desires and spread their signals around a large system with ease. Dedicated push buttons make quick work of creating and recalling from eight scenes, organized into eight banks. There are also eight presets, each containing eight banks, for a total of sixty-four scenes per preset!
