Teia Synthesizers SkipLog
Teia's SkipLog is a three channel gate/trigger generator that imparts a rhythmic sense of wonderment, chance, and playability into any patch. All three channels have a probability and length knob that let you fine tune the pattern, which goes from 1–16/32 steps; each channel has an independent clock input or you can take advantage of the normalization to keep all three channels in sync. The playability comes courtesy of the illuminated button on each channel whose function changes depending on the mode you select. Use these buttons to activate a loop to freeze the pattern, turn the buttons into a latching mute, invert the pattern, turn on choke which allows the lower numbered channel to mute the higher numbered channel, and the last mode simply converts gates into triggers. The SkipLog is great for anyone who is looking for serendipitous rhythmic generation or to create complex patterns.
