Teenage Engineering EP-40 Riddim

Bring the vibe with you wherever you go with the EP-40 Riddim, a dub and reggae-inspired edition of Teenage Engineering's powerful EP-series samplers. Craft lush dancehall productions right in your lap with the robust sampling engine, which offers twelve stereo or sixteen monophonic voices that can be played polyphonically using the velocity and pressure-sensitive keys. Start making music right out of the box with the included library of 300 dub and reggae instruments and sounds. Sculpt rhythms with unique percussion, vocal drops, deep backbeats, and cutting dub sirens. Add your favorite samples into your tracks using the onboard system memory, which offers 128MB for blending your unique sample library into the dub framework. Sculpt tracks on the fly using the flexible four-track sequencer, which can sequence up to 99 bars for creating entire songs on-the-go. The versatile subtractive synthesis engine lets you add deep, rich basses and sticky leads into your beats right on the EP-40.

In each of nine available user projects, you can add punch-in FX from twelve different dub-inspired effect types, adding nuance and expressive gestures where you see fit. And of course, the assignable performance fader is always close at hand for quick delay throws, tone sculpting filter control, and much more. Expand your beats using the analog sync, which allows the EP-40 to synchronize with external instruments like other Teenage Engineering devices, or use the MIDI I/O to incorporate your beats into the wide world of external gear and DAW-based workflows. Connecting via USB-C port allows you to use the Riddim as a MIDI device in your DAW, or even load samples directly from your computer. If you're looking for a sampler that's as fun as it is inspiring, the EP-40 Riddim is Teenage Engineering's triumphant foray into the world of lush dub and reggae production.
