Before hitting the reverb, Wellspring takes your signal though a stereo delay line and filter section. In the delay, controls for each channel's delay time allow for crafting nuanced echoes in the stereo field, either by adjusting the right channel in relation to the left in follow mode, or with complete independence in free mode. Feedback increases repeats in the delay line, with both parallel and ping-pong modes for optional stereo switching. Sculpt your tone with the onboard filter section, featuring high pass, band pass, low pass, and notch modes, with controls for frequency cutoff and a dry / wet blend control for parallel processing.

A dedicated modulation source is on hand for affecting the delay time and filter frequency, with both sine and ramp waveshapes and two speed ranges enabling audio rate modulation effects. On the back of the unit, a CV input with a range of +/-5V allows you to use your own favorite modulation sources or even an audio signal to control this modulation, enabling endless experimentation. With your delay and filter settings in place, the signal is fed into the lush spring reverb, with immaculate electronic and mechanical craftsmanship for incredibly clean, professional sound. Adjust the amount of reverb with a dedicated dry / wet control.

At the right end of the panel, the mysterious Magic knob opens up entirely new worlds of reverberant sound. Feeding the signal from the spring reverb directly back into the delay lines with amplitude based on the intensity setting, you can easily craft infinite reverb tails for ethereal, captivating effects. Push the intensity deeper, and Wellspring screams out with profound power, beckoning any adventurous audio experimentalist into another exploration with every knob turn. Thanks to the modulation onboard for delays and filters, the Magic knob is highly tamable, allowing you to fine-tune the feedback for transcendent tones or treacherous wails as you see fit.

Wellspring features both unbalanced stereo 1/4" inputs and outputs, as well as a dedicated Hi-Z input for guitar. The input and output level controls enable easy gain management for dialing in the warm saturation Wellspring provides, while keeping the levels in check for any downstream processors.
