TASCAM SERIES 8p Dyna 8-Channel Microphone Preamp

The Tascam Series 8p Dyna is an eight-channel mic preamp with built-in compression, perfect for live sound or studio use. It features eight of Tascam's HDIA (High Definition Instrumentation Architecture) preamps with an EIN of -127dBu and a dynamic range of 116dB. The six inputs on the back feature balanced mic/line inputs and two inputs on the front accept High-Z instrument/microphone inputs for use with guitars or basses. These are transparent in tone and have ultra-low noise levels. Each input features a gain control, phantom power, and one-knob analog compressor that is simple yet powerful.

Eight balanced TRS outputs are available on the rear, plus a D-SUB 25 connector for another eight outputs. In addition, two digital outputs on S/MUX optical connectors are available to expand the total number of outputs. These work great as an accompaniment to Tascam's Series 102i or 208i to expand their total number of inputs. With both word clock input and output on BNC, the Series 8p properly syncs to digital gear in your studio. The Series 8p Dyna packs eight of Tascam's renowned preamps into one package with plenty of outputs, both analog and digital. It's a great way to expand your audio interface's inputs or as a great sounding mic preamp.
