The VU002 Quad Frequency Doubler is a 4-stage full-wave rectifier that doubles, quadruples, octuples, and sexdecuples an input, and is specifically designed to work with video signals. The top input is wired in a cascade normalization that can create interesting shapes using a ramp generator or video oscillator from any of the four outputs. Using a video decoder, you can also input the individual R-G-B or luminance channels of a video signal to create solarized patterns and bright colors. Each of the stages has a switching input that breaks the normalization giving you dialed in control for creating intricate patterns and gorgeous colors.
