Syntonie Ondes

Ondes from Syntonie is a dual video rate oscillator that offers a wide range of creative possibilities as a crucial component of any video synthesis system. Named after the French word for "waves", Ondes creates video rate oscillations with variable rate, which can be adjusted using the Frequency control knobs for either oscillator, or with CV via the frequency modulation inputs and modulation attenuverter controls. Beyond this basic operation, Ondes includes a number of helpful features that expand its capability within your system. Outputs include both triangle and square wave outputs, as well as a mix output which delivers a mix of both oscillators. The triangle outputs can also be set to deliver a sawtooth waveform by adjusting the normalization switches for either oscillator's Amplitude Modulation input. This AM input provides yet another opportunity to modulate and shape Ondes' signal outputs alongside the FM inputs. Finally, each oscillator can be switched to sync vertically or horizontally, as well as a third option for free-running, unsynchronized signal. Both a core element in any patch and a powerful source of 2D shape creation on its own, Ondes from Syntonie is a fantastic video oscillator pair that's sure to make waves in your system.
