Each of Spotykach's two looper decks provides three unique modes of audio processing, giving you immediate access to a wide range of techniques from the history of audio manipulation. Reel mode offers tape-inspired looping with reverse and overdub, while Slice offers rhythmic re-sequencing, and Drift invites wandering pitch and time variations in granular sample playback. Rather than offering the surgical precision of screen-based editing, Spotykach features an intuitive interface that rewards hands-on exploration through its twelve touch pads and physical controls.

Completely open and rife for experimentation, Spotykach provides a versatile platform for a wide range of workflows. Manipulate some source audio in Reel mode, then record the result into the adjacent deck; manipulate it further there in another mode, creating drastic transformations that range from rhythmic sputters to a touch-controlled granular synth voice. Onboard the device is a dual modulation engine including both LFOs and envelope followers for directly automating parameter movement, while seven CV inputs, a gate input per deck, clock sync, and MIDI I/O offer plentiful opportunities for integrating with the rest of your gear. In addition to these modulation options, Spotykach features a dual FX engine per stereo deck, as well as flexible audio routing for hearing each deck in a stereo mix, dual mono, or even a randomly panning mode for an ever-evolving stereo image.
